PFHD NPDES PERMIT

The Post Falls Highway District operates a storm water drainage system that discharges to the Spokane River and its tributaries. The drainage system operates under a permit from the EPA. The documents above provide information regarding the District's permit and its Storm Water Management Program Program in an effort to promote awareness and improve water quality.

WELCOME TO THE POST FALLS HIGHWAY DISTRICT

POST FALLS HIGHWAY DISTRICT (PFHD) is a public entity responsible for the maintenance and construction of secondary roads in the north west portion of Kootenai County, located in Northern Idaho.  The District is administered by a three-member Board of Commissioners.  Post Falls Highway District is divided into three sub-districts, and each sub-district is represented by an elected Commissioner.
PFHD has created this site to provide information to the general public regarding the operations and activities of the Highway District.

Summer Hours - March 15th to October 31 - 6 am to 4.30 pm, Monday -  Thursday
Winter Hours - November 1st to March 31st - 6 am to 2.30 pm, Monday -  Friday
